Delaware native, Olivia Rubini just released a B Side for her song Be Well on October 8th. This sultry pop princess revisits this previously released funky tune “Be Well” with a mellow flair that suits her well.

Working with many of the same musicians and production team she worked with on the original track, this new rendering draws you in a bit closer with more organic sounds and encourages you to listen and reflect on an affair gone sour versus the original version which motivates you to dance about your room in your new found freedom. With lyrics like “Maybe it is time to be on my own, maybe time to let you go.” being followed up by “Live and be well” Olivia is preaching the type of emotional maturity we all hope to achieve one day.

The addition and highlight of the acoustic guitar, played by Vince Cirino, gives the B side a warm and fuzzy tone. The electric guitar riffs, played by Dave Duncan, sprinkled tastefully over the tune and showcasing in the bridge of the song easily bring forth memories of almost anything from John Mayer's discography. With Sam Nobles on bass guitar and Ritchie Rubini on drums the rhythm section is the piece that keeps the track fun and poppy in the way we love Olivia’s music to be. With lots of vocal harmonies laid and layered in the background, the song is truly heavenly and leaves you feeling good about the break up.

Olivia’s album “Silhouettes'' released in January of 2021. As of now ‘Be Well’ is her most streamed song.Take a listen to the Be Well(B Side) below.
