However, if you take a closer look, you might find that entertainment is not only alive and well, but diverse and bountiful below the canal. Take for example Paul Tagliaferro Cullen, personal chef, sommelier, and previous bassist for classic rock band Bad Company. His weekend brunch and market, affectionately named Paul’s Kitchen in Lewes Delaware, will wine you, dine you, and mesmerize you with their specialized menu, imported Italian goodies, and attached concert venue nicknamed The Room At Cedar Grove.
“It’s NOT a Restaurant! LOL It’s an inside joke…we are actually only open 2 days a weekend for Brunch and then concert nights which could be on any given night. Right now we are averaging 4-6 Dinner and Concerts a month” comments Chef Cullen. Seating is very limited and reservations must be made in advance in order to attend any performances. Chef Cullen keeps a constant flow of high caliber music and entertainment moving through his doors including national touring acts like Robert Randolph, The Levin Bros featuring Tony Levin of Peter Gabriel, and Erin Dickins & Manhattan Transfer.
“This is actually a listening room where music lovers get to hear the backstories of their musical career and songwriting! I am so proud of the magical experience that we have created for the musician and fans.” says Chef Cullen.
