The Doctor Will See You Now; A Benefit Concert for local legend Doctor Harmonica

There have been countless gifted bands and musicians in the small wonder who have come and gone. One artist in particular has stood the test of time with an impressive musical career that has spanned close to an exciting 40 years with no signs of slowing down. Mark “Doctor Harmonica” Kenneally of The Rockett 88 is a Delaware Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, arguably one of the best harmonica players in the country, but one of his best talents has been making lifelong musical friends.

A little over a year ago Mark was involved in an accident while trying to save his puppy. As sweet and kind of a gesture as it was, it left him with a large medical bill, and like many artists his lack of insurance has made it difficult to afford his care. When he reached out to his music buddies Alan Yandziak and Tony Capella for help, they did what they do best and started planning a benefit concert

Join the famous Doctor Harmonica and his band The Rockett 88 on December 28 at Wilmington’s Tonic Bar and Grill from 6 to 10pm. Some of the state’s best musicians will be lending their talents including Micheal Davis & The Bullets, Rob Perna and the New Kings of Rhythm, Shine A Light Allstars, and more surprise players as the night moves into an electrifying jam session. Bring your pocket books to participate in the auction and tear into some of the best food the city has to offer for one of the best musicians the state has produced.
