Sixlet

Sixlet is a four-piece band from Delaware, drawing influence from the alternative punk sounds of 90s emo. Recently, they signed with the Texas-based label Sunday Drive Records. While the t-shirts are already sold out, you can still stream their music and pre-order an exclusive limited edition black cassette featuring their four-song demo on their official Bandcamp site.

Cypher Clique

Delaware's favorite rap trio, Cypher Clique, are back with a four-song EP titled Tomorrow Starts Today, which they self-released on February 18. Longtime producer and friend James Major crafts dreamy, groovy beats, and the crew has perfected the formula to make every song an absolute vibe. They’ve mentioned on their page that more music is on the way, so be sure to stream their latest release and get ready for more soon.

Impetus Records

Beloved Wilmington, Delaware-based music label Impetus Records has curated a compilation album titled Between Two Cities. The collection features live, studio, and acoustic versions of songs from several of the label's bands, including Moonflower, Death by Indie, Merger, and more. Visit their Bandcamp to purchase cassettes, CDs, or MP3s of the album.

Jean Alter

Jean Alter is a young indie electronic artist from Delaware, with a new infectious single titled “Human Being” now available on their Bandcamp. While there isn’t much information about their music or upcoming shows, Alter remains a mystery that's worth exploring, with every song on their page being an undeniably catchy hit.

Mothman Properties

Wilmington-based indie rock band Mothman Properties released a sonically polished and catchy new track, “Dirty Laundry,” on January 9. The song features brilliant production, with the acoustic guitar ringing out clearly and the keys dancing throughout, while the emotionally vulnerable lyrics tug at your heartstrings. Catch Mothman Properties performing this song live, co-headlining a special show with Disko on April 26 at Smalls Music Shop. For show and ticket information, click here.

Emcee Face

Emcee Face, formerly known as Face Balian, has dropped a tasty new track titled “Filipino Food,” released on his label, Sound Pitch Entertainment. This song is an obvious nod to his heritage, as Face invites us to savor some of his favorite Filipino dishes over a smooth boom-bap beat. It’s a personal look into his customs, and will definitely have your mouth watering. Check out his latest single, along with all the releases from his record label, online.
